DocScanner Privacy Policy

DocScanner is made by Abdullah Emroze. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use DocScanner.
The short version
DocScanner does not collect, store or share your personal data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.
Your scans
Scans are created on your device and saved as PDFs in the app’s private storage. They are never uploaded. They leave your device only when you share one yourself, and are deleted when you delete them or uninstall the app.
Camera
On iPhone, DocScanner asks for camera access so the scanner can see the page. On Android, scanning runs in the system scanner provided by Google Play Services, so the app itself does not need camera access. The camera is used only while you are scanning.
Network use
DocScanner works offline and makes no network requests of its own.
Children
DocScanner is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new effective date.
