Does Framely upload my screenshots?
No. Everything happens on your phone or Mac. Framely has no servers and makes no network requests.
Which export sizes are included?
App Store 6.9", 6.7", 6.5", 5.5" and iPad, Google Play phone, tablet and feature graphic, plus square, story and social link images.
Where do exported images go?
On a phone, to a Framely album in your photos or to any app you pick from the share sheet. On a Mac, to a Framely folder in your Downloads, or to any app you pick from the share menu.
How do I install the Android APK?
Download the APK on your phone and open it. Android asks you to allow installs from your browser or Files app the first time; allow it, then tap Install. Framely needs Android 7.0 or later.
Can I switch from the APK to Google Play later?
Google Play signs its copy with a different key, so it will not update the APK version in place. Uninstall the APK first, then install from Google Play. Export anything you want to keep before uninstalling, because uninstalling removes your projects.
Which Macs does Framely run on?
macOS 11 Big Sur and later, on Apple Silicon and Intel. It is a direct download from this page.
My Mac says Framely cannot be opened. What do I do?
The Mac build is not notarized by Apple yet, so macOS asks you to confirm it once. Drag Framely into Applications and open it. When the warning appears, open System Settings, go to Privacy & Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway next to Framely, then confirm. After that it opens normally.
Do I need an internet connection?
No. Every font and template ships inside the app, so it works fully offline.
