TidyMac Privacy Policy

TidyMac is made by Abdullah Emroze. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use TidyMac.
The short version
TidyMac does not collect your personal data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.
What TidyMac reads on your Mac
To do its job, TidyMac looks at files and system information on your machine: caches and logs, installed applications and their support files, disk usage, and live readings such as processor, memory, disk and battery. All of this is read on your Mac, shown to you there, and never sent anywhere.
Scan results and your settings are stored on your Mac and are removed when you uninstall the app.
What TidyMac removes
Nothing is removed until you have seen the list and confirmed it. Files go to the Trash, so you can restore them until you empty it.
Network use
TidyMac checks for updates, and activates your licence when you enter its key. These requests reveal your device’s IP address and the app version, as any web request does. They contain nothing about your files.
Children
TidyMac is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new effective date.
